Femi Falana proud of ‘rebellious’ son Falz for involvement in #EndSARS protest

Femi Falana SAN is reportedly proud of his son Falz and other youths of Nigeria for the #EndSARS protest.

 

Folake Falana, an entertainment lawyer, made this known on Twitter.

 

Narrating what her and Falz’s dad – Femi Falana – said, she wrote: “My Dad said he is so proud of everything all of us are doing and that he is especially proud of his rebellious son @falzthebahdguy. He told us that he has been protesting for 40+years and this is unprecedented. I pray I can tell my children that we changed things. #EndSWAT,”

Her sister, Folade Falana wrote in another post: “My dad just sent me a bunch of pictures. As if to say, ‘when you people finish with #SARS people, please tackle these other areas’ lol. I know he is super proud of young Nigerians right now.”

Hoodlums steal Obafemi Awolowo’s glasses from his statue (photos)

Some hoodlums who were on rampage in Lagos state, have reportedly defaced the statue of late Obafemi Awolowo located in Ikeja area of the state.

The hoodlums removed the statue’s iconic glasses amid attack on some of Nigeria’s symbols of history.

Recall that the monument of Nnamdi Azikwe had also been attacked by hoodlums in Anambra state.

The Awolowo statue was erected during the administration of former Lagos governor Akinwumi Ambode, in recognition of the late former lawyer, nationalist’s contribution to the country’s democracy.

Osun State residents who were caught violating the curfew imposed by Governor Gboyega Oyetola were subjected to rigorous punishment by Nigerian soldiers in Ilesha.

Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola alongside South West governors and some Ministers from the South West, paid a condolence visit to Governor Sanwo-Olu on Sunday, October 25 over the loss of lives and wanton destruction witnessed in the state last week.

During the visit, the governor took the visiting governors and ministers round some of the destroyed facilities in the state.
