Nigerian singer, Falz has again weighed in on the #EndSARS protest and why he and other young Nigerians are demanding that the police unit be scrapped.

Speaking in an Instalive chat with Daddy Freeze, Falz demanded for an instance where SARS operatives came to the rescue of armed robbery victims. He added that all they do is arrest young Nigerians with colored hairs and looks they term “uncommon”.

Three friends set up a table in the middle of a bad road in Owerri and drank beer there to draw attention to the state of the road.

 

The friends took off their footwears and the lady in their midst rolled up her trousers as they sat in the middle of the road, their feet dirty with mud.

Passers-by are seen looking at the friends inquisitively.

 

They shared the photos online while calling for an end to bad governance.

“I had am amazing time with my friends today, but honestly people are suffering here,” the caption on the photo reads, adding, “At this point I think it’s high time we voice out concerning the way things seems to be going in terms of governance.”

Actress Joke Jigan has slammed a follower who accused her of not being proud of her dark skin after she shared before and now photos showing the change in her skin colour.

The actress shared two photos of herself to Instagram. In one of the photos, she was looking dark-skinned. In the second photo, her skin had become considerably lighter.

A follower commented, “This is rubbish. You’re not proud of your dark skin hmmm secondary slavery (sic)”

Veteran actor, Clem Ohameze has recounted how he was attacked by hoodlums in Akwa Ibom state.

 

Speaking in an interview on BBC Igbo, the actor revealed that he was on his way to a movie location in Abak Road on Thursday October 22, when he was attacked by the hoodlums.

 

Clem who said he initially thought they were #EndSARS protesters, said he was attacked by the hoodlums after being identified. He also revealed that they took his money, phones, damaged his car and also slashed his hand with a machete.

The actor said;

 

“It happened on Thursday in Uyo. The protesters, I ran into them. On recognising me, they just didn’t want to bother. They took everything away from me.

“They took N650,000 from me, all my phones. Destroyed my car, slashed my hand with a machete. I did a police report when this happened. I was on Abak Road in Uyo. I went to work on a movie set of my own.”

 

Ohameze who further revealed that he has been in an Uyo hospital since Thursday and was discharged on Sunday October 25, added that his attackers have pleaded guilty to assault to a police officer and are awaiting trial.
