Erica Nlewedim who was one of the housemates in the just concluded BBNaija lockdown reality TV show, took to her Twitter handle this morning to vent.
Apparently, she visited a lounge and the owners took her photos and shared them without her permission. She expressed her displeasure at this, with a reminder that no one should think she is weak because she chooses to ignore certain things.
She also called out some of her fans who are in the habit of seizing every opportunity to insult her. Her tweets read
”Don’t ever think I’m weak because I choose to ignore! You all will regret pissing me off I promise you!
As for the lounge that recorded me without my permission and created a whole advert using my image and name, you will hear from my lawyers, my people will never patronize you & no your name won’t be mentioned, you already stole publicity using me and that will be the last!
If you say you’re an elite but use different opportunities to insult me then stay very far from me, make up your mind! Know what you stand for and own it with your chest! This is a no fake zone!”
Harry Styles mocks Candace Owens and others who trolled his Vogue cover where he was wearing a dress
Harry Styles has mocked those who trolled his iconic Vogue cover by eating a banana while wearing a frilly suit.
The 25-year-old sparked controversy by wearing dresses in his shoot for Vogue.
One of those who called him out is right-wing pundit Candace Owens who slammed him for wearing a dress and said it was time to “bring back manly men”.
She tweeted at the time: “There is no society that can survive without strong men.
“The East knows this. In the west, the steady feminisation of our men at the same time that Marxism is being taught to our children is not a coincidence. It is an outright attack. Bring back manly men.”
Harry turned their criticisms around by using it as a caption to a post.
In the post shared to Instagram, the singer wore a powder blue blazer over a white frilled shirt, featuring pleated cuffs, and matching trousers.
Harry ate a banana in the picture, shot by Parker Woods for Variety, and captioned it: “Bring back manly men.”
The picture was part of a shoot to accompany Harry’s interview with Variety, in which he also ate a pomegranate and wore a pale pink silk blouse by Gucci and a pearl necklace.
In the interview, the former One Direction star addressed his style choices and took pride in his Vogue shoot, saying: “To not wear something because it’s female’ clothing, you shut out a whole world of great clothes.
“And I think what’s exciting about right now is you can wear what you like. It does’t have to be X or Y. Those lines are becoming more and more blurred.”
Harry is known for his eclectic and androgynous style, and in his Vogue shoot, he wore skirts and dresses as well as traditionally masculine trousers and shirts.
Admitting he always liked dressing up as a child, Harry said: “Clothes are there to have fun with and experiment with and play with. What’s really exciting is that all of these lines are just kind of crumbling away.
“When you take away ‘There’s clothes for men and there’s clothes for women,’ once you remove any barriers, obviously you open up the arena in which you can play. I’ll go in shops sometimes, and I just find myself looking at the women’s clothes thinking they’re amazing.
“It’s like anything—anytime you’re putting barriers up in your own life, you’re just limiting yourself. There’s so much joy to be had in playing with clothes. I’ve never really thought too much about what it means—it just becomes this extended part of creating something.”
Woman who isn’t engaged boasts about finding ‘perfect’ $20 wedding dress
A woman has left people concerned after she boasted online about finding the perfect dress for her big day then admitted she hasn’t met her future husband.
The woman wowed an online wedding group when she gave details about finding the wedding dress of her dreams in an antique shop for just $20.
The woman wrote on a Facebook group: “Found my future wedding dress today.
“I fell in love with this dress and couldn’t pass it up. It was only $20 and it fits perfectly.”
Facebook users commented after she posted pictures of herself looking wonderful in white. A number of people said they envied her.
But things took a turn after she admitted that she isn’t even engaged even though she has her wedding dress ready.
She came clean after getting some congratulatory messages.
She said she bought the dress in preparation for what might lay ahead, not for any time soon.
She posted: “Thank you for the congratulations! I’m not actually getting married yet, but you know… Someday.”
Someone commented, saying that whoever is dating the woman should “run for the hills.”
One user wrote: “I like the dress for like a simple low budget beach wedding type thing, but to buy a dress without having a wedding planned (or mans for all we know) is odd.”
“Wait…not getting married yet but owns a dress?” questioned another.
One person commented: “Are we just gonna gloss over the fact that she’s not even getting married?”
Another agreed, saying: “This is how you scare away any potential future partner. Man, woman, non binary, all of the above or fluid. Lady, you’re TERRIFYING.”
Disappointed customer shows dress she ordered and what her tailor made
A customer who asked a tailor to make her a dress was left disappointed at what was delivered.
The woman shared a photo of the dress she ordered and what was delivered.
She explained that a friend introduced her to the tailor who then sent her 5 dresses to choose from. She chose one and the tailor charged her 70,000 Naira.
She haggled down to 65,000 Naira and made payment for the dress.
However, the dress was not ready on time for her birthday. When it finally came, it was nothing like what she ordered.

She added that she asked the tailor to keep 25,000 Naira and make a refund of 40,000 and she’ll return the dress, but the tailor refused.
